Learn about US Aid Reform and Oxfam Action Corps - Free Lunch with Oxfam Staffer, Adam Olson, Noon May 17th
At the end of this month our legislators will begin voting on the most important changes in US Aid reform since its inception in the 1950's. President Obama has added reforms that will allow US Aid the flexibility it needs to make international hunger relief more effective and efficient. In short, these changes mean we can feed 4 to 5 million more people without changing the costs and cut our response time to humanitarian crisis from months to weeks.
We need all hands on deck to move this forward, but more than anything we need your voice.
Join us for a free lunch meeting with Oxfam staffer, Adam Olson, at Duo's Kitchen at 2960 North Meridian Street, Indianapolis, Indiana at noon on Friday May 17th. This is in the International Medical Group Building across from the Children's Museum.
E-mail us at Indianapolis@OxfamActionCorps.org to let us know if you can attend.
